VISIT OF THE APPOINTED BISHOP OF THE DIOCESE OF IRINGA (TANZANIA)

On Thursday, March 13, 2025, Father Romanus, the appointed Bishop of the Diocese of Iringa, accompanied by his Tanzanian compatriot Father Luciano, visited the community at the Generalate and shared an evening meal.

Prior to his appointment as Bishop, Father Romanus was parish priest at Ujewa, where our Brothers from the Province of East Africa are present, and with whom he maintains good contact. His visit to our General Curia after his appointment as bishop demonstrated his desire to strengthen further his links and collaboration with the Brothers of Saint Gabriel. It was also an opportunity for him to meet our Superior General, Brother Dionigi Tafarello, with whom he had the opportunity to talk.
