MESSAGE FOR THE ELECTION OF POPE LEON XIV - MONTFORT BROTHERS OF ST. GABRIEL

The Congregation of the Brothers of the Christian Instruction of St. Gabriel (Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel), with all its associates and collaborators, with a heart full of gratitude, joins in the joy of the whole Church at the election of Pope Leo XIV as Bishop of Rome and Pastor of the whole Church. 

May the Holy Spirit enlighten the new Successor of Peter to be a loving and caring guide of the flock entrusted to him, and may the Peace of the Risen Christ invoked by the Holy Father descend upon all people. With Pope Leo XIV we want to commit ourselves to be builders of bridges and instruments of peace among all those who live next to us and wherever we live and work, through dialogue, forgiveness and mutual love. 

May the Virgin Mary, Mother of Hope, accompany and protect the Holy Father in his ministry of guiding the Church and give him the necessary courage to face the challenges with faith and abandonment in God.
