Installation of the New Provincial Administration – Trichy (2025-2028)

The Province of Trichy welcomed its new Provincial Administration with a solemn and prayerful celebration on March 25, 2025. The installation coincided with the feast day of our Congregation, adding deeper significance to the occasion.

Provincial Council Meeting

Earlier in the day, the Provincial Council gathered at Villa Montfort, Trichy, to reflect on the past six years of service and express gratitude for the brothers' dedication and support. The meeting also marked the official transition to the new administration.

Solemn Eucharistic Celebration

The Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Rt. Rev. Dr. Bernard Justin Gnanapragasam, Bishop of Jaffna, was the day's highlight. During the Mass, the newly appointed Provincial, Bro. John Britto, along with his Councilors, participated in a special prayer of commitment, holding candles as a sign of their dedication. The congregation also renewed their consecration in the spirit of Montfort.

Following the Mass, the outgoing Provincial, Bro. Irudayam, expressed his gratitude for the years of service alongside his team. The new Provincial, Bro. John Britto, acknowledged the challenges ahead and emphasised the importance of unity and trust in God’s guidance. His Lordship also shared words of encouragement on leadership in religious life.

The ceremony concluded with a group photo and a moment of fraternal joy, symbolising the continuity of our mission. We express our heartfelt thanks to the Central Administration for its unwavering support and guidance.
