JPIC Francophone seminar in Brazzaville

JPIC Francophone seminar in Brazzaville

The JPIC Francophone seminar was held in the Welcome House in Brazzaville which is in the same campus of the present Provincial House. There were 13 participants, including two lay collaborators from Spain. The seminar began with a Mass on 5th morning. Bro. Jean Baptiste welcomed everyone and Ambroise gave the dynamics for the seminar. Then I gave the inaugural address. All the participants introduced themselves. The talks were given by Bro. Rene Delorme on Laudate Si, Bro. Cleophas on the Socio-Economic situation in Africa, Bro. Jean Paul Mbengue on JPIC and Formation. There were Province/sector presentations on the first day. There were two workshops and reporting. On the last day the evaluation was held; all liked the seminar and the welcome given by the Province of Brazzaville. The sending forth session was the last one. During his session a gift/souvenir symbolizing Brazzaville (an elephant-national animal) was given to all. On 8th all the participants visited the Brothers school for the deaf in Brazzaville. They were given introduction about the school, visited the class rooms and interacted with the students and teachers.

Thus the JPIC seminar came to a close. All the participants liked the seminar. Appreciated the Province of Brazzaville for the good arrangement, welcome and hospitality. The local Provincial, Bro. Thierry the Bursar of the Province and all the other Brothers were thanked. In the evening on 8th all the Brothers from Brazzaville communities joined the participants for the evening prayer and dinner. Bro. Ambroise co-ordinated all the programmers systematically and efficiently.
