Who are we? We are the "Gabrielite Secretariat for Justice and Peace" (GSJP) of the Brothers of St. Gabriel disciples of St. Louis-Marie Grignion of Montfort (1673-1716) and Gabriel Deshayes (Superior General of Montfortian Congregations from 1821to 1841).

Our History

In fact, our story is inspired by the vision and the spiritual experience of Louis-Marie de Montfort, the daring missionary dynamism of Gabriel Deshayes and the courage of our pioneers. The expectations and hopes of the GSJP are summarized in Message of the 29th General Chapter: "Montfortian Missionary Dynamism for a Just Society Towards the Kingdom"

The Brothers of St Gabriel are dedicated themselves to education, particularly that of youth, poor children, those who are abandoned, maladjusted or handicapped in any way” (Constitutions, 89)

Our path...

"By your religious profession, you commityourself to follow Christ more closely, and thus associate yourself more intimately with His mission of salvation.you are ready to go anywhere, suffer anything with Him and for Him."

(Rule ofLife 58)
“Go to those who are lowly, marginalised or rejected, try to understand them and be close to them. Let your attitude reveal to them the love Christ and His Church bear them. Make known to them the Good News of the Hope that is Christ.”
(Rule of Life 35)
