Sukriti Gupta of Montfort School, New Delhi, was declared 1st Rank Holder in India in the national examination for Class XII, organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This rare distinction at the national level comes with 497/500 marks (99.4%). Congratulations to Sukriti Gupta, her parents, the teaching community of Montfort School, Bro. Monachan and Bro. James (who has just taken over as the new Provincial of Delhi) and of course the Montfortian Education Mission under the inspiration of St. Montfort.
“You need to get your basics right and then the rest is not that hard to crack. I have been consistent throughout and that helped me to emerge as a topper. I did not expect this, though I was sure that I would do well. This is beyond my expectations,” said Sukriti.
Montfortian Education Foundation works to bring the best in learning and teaching in global terms. Achievement like this one in a country of 1200 million people is a challenging new standard for 21st century. The role of parents in this case is remarkable and we need to study it. The teachers have made a mark to be congratulated. The learning climate of a Montfort School with 300 years of accumulated experience is invisible in such achievements, and of course, the leaders who make things happen are essential entities of such scaling in educational achievements.
The Centre for Educational Research and Innovation (CERI) wing of Montfortian Education shall continue to study such achievements and scale up the quality, content and concepts of Learning/Teaching mission.
Congratulations to Sukriti Gupta, the achiever, and all those who made it possible. The Montfortian family of Brothers, Teachers and Students are proud of you and are empowered to multiply such excellence.
